Life Long & Ongoing Discipleship
The old Baltimore Catechism says that God made us “to know Him, to love Him, and to serve Him in this world, and to be happy with Him forever in heaven.”
How can we serve God if we do not love him? And how can we love God if we do not know him?
Knowledge of another person is the foundation for loving that person. What is true for human relationships is true for our relationship with God.
Too often, adult Catholics do not engage in life-long and ongoing formation. We do not continue getting to know the Lord better. Not doing so jeopardizes our relationship with the Lord.
Thus, Frassati Catholic Church strives to offer many opportunities for adults to know God better, helping them to love and serve him with greater devotion.
